Why has Congress made it its goal to do as much damage to President Bush as they can? The Democrat controlled  Congress claim this bill they wish to pass is going to solve the problem in Iraq. On the contrary it seems to be nothing more then a waste of time. In case you are unaware, this solution for the war is a NON-BINDING RESOLUTION!!!! How is a document that does not legally hold anyone to it solve anything?!?!?!? John Myrtha said, “Our ultimate goal is to cut off funds for our troups.” Why would he want to do something like that? Why would he want to take funds away from our men and women in uniform when everyone knows that these funds are being used to supply armor, not only for their vehicles but for their bodies as well, ammunition, food, shelter, and medical coverage. Now it cant be argued that Murtha does not know this, since he said, “This vote will limit the options of the president and should stop this surge…The president could veto it, but then he wouldn’t have any money.” It is despicable that politics have taken hold of this war, and turned it into a joke!!! Every time one soldier dies, the liberal media has a field day talking about how we are losing this war. In WWI and WWII we saw THOUSANDS upon THOUSANDS of soldiers die in a single day! I dont mean to sound insensitive to the families of those who are giving their lives for the freedom of others, i just believe in what we are doing. I believe in their cause. I also believe that we have many people would have us lose this war for political gain. They would fill the minds of the American people with lies. Telling them that we went into Iraq only so Bush could finish a “family feud” between the Bush’s and the Hussein’s. That the only good enough reason for invading Iraq would be if we found “WMDs”. That we should leave because Iraq is in the middle of a civil war. Foolishness! 

Now I am not a mind reader, so I cant tell you what was going through George W Bush’s head when he decided to invade Iraq, but I can tell you that he had plenty of incentive. Sadaam was an evil dictator that murdered many of his people, and through their bodies into mass graves. The families of these people never even knew what happened to their loved ones. They would just go missing, usually for nothing more than speaking out against this mad-man. Also, Sadaam disobeyed many UN resolutions. He maintained a stock of banned missiles, and chemical weapons such as Mustard Gas and Agent Orange. These weapons, when used, caused devastation on a large scale. When these Biological weapons are unleashed they cannot be controlled. Once the wind takes it, the gasses go where they please. A cloud of gas cannot distinguish civilians, from the enemy, or even from yourself. Many people would die, regardless of what side they are on. In my opinion these should be classified as a WMD, not just a nuke.

Have you ever asked a Democrat what he or she would do if they were comander and chief. Every time I here that questioned asked, the answer I almost always hear is “I would redeploy the troupes to Darfur, because that is were we should be.” Last time I checked, Darfur is in the middle of a civil war! Why is it they call for withdrawal from Iraq, because it are I a civil war, only to redeploy to another area where there is a civil war going on as well? It is not right to just leave a job unfinished just to go help someone else. We have a responsibility to those who want their government to succeed. I mean I have no problem with going into Darfur, but only once we have finished in Iraq.

 It is all about politics. Do your homework before you vote! Find out what your Representatives stand for and make a decision. Do I want to re-elect this person who is in it for political power, or go with the other guy who has the welfare of, not only his country, but the world at heart.

Why is it that so many want to give amnesty to all the illegal aliens. I dont believe that it is correct to give these aliens any kind of amnesty. They are illegals! They are starting out in this country as fugatives, or at least they should be treated as such. Why is it that we have not shut down the boarder? We are slowly being invaded by our neighbor to the south and no one is willing to do anything about it! They should not be welcome. We must fight back against them. If we do not stop them now there will be to many of them to track down and send back. Also, where is Mexico in all of this? What are they doing to stop their citizens from crossing the boarder into our country? Nothing whatsoever!!! In fact they are aiding these people by handing out pamphlets on the street which tell them what to pack and the best routes to take. There is even a GPS device out on the streets that allows the illegals, when in need of medical aid while crossing, to call US officals and request assistance. Why in the world are the illegal aliens calling our government for help while breaking INTERNATIONAL LAWS!!! They should be afraid of the conquences of there deeds, but alas they are not. Now there is a reason for this invasion. These people are fleaing the oppression of their government. Mexico has a corupt system of government which involves the stealing of government funds and distributing of them among the elected officials. The average Jose never really has a chance at a decent life unless they are related to one of the government officials. The people of Mexico have found it easier to cross the boarder and take lowpaying jobs, so that they can send the money back to their families for food and clothing. Now dont get me wrong, I feel for these people, but they must follow the system and not try to take shortcuts that break the law.

You know what really grinds my gears? The fact that our country has a tendency to forget. Mabey its just me, but has everyone just forgoten 911! The passion we felt. The unity we had. No playing politics. Not looking for a way to make money for the next election or looking to make ones self look good. There was a Genuine concern for the betterment of our bretheren and our country. People were couterious and giving. We were morning the lost and ready to enact our vengence upon the people who did this and takedown anyone who stood in our way. Now we are a country that has been divided like never before. I in all my life never thought that my beloved USA would be so confused and so torn apart over retoric and policy. Between cowardice and bravery. Between patriotism and a shere hate for this country. Make me a promise. Promise me you will remember our goal and never give in to weakness. Promise to be well informed so you dont have to just take a politians word on anything. Most of all promise me you will never forget 911!
